Field notes belonging to Thomas Knill, mine surveyor in Boulder County Mining field notebook. Brown leather note book. The front cover is embossed in brown ink with "Unity Mine/Cardwell B.P. & S. Co. 425" Miscellaneous Mine Books No. 7 is written in black ink on the front", F.7 is written in black ink in lower right corner. There are 79 pages. The top of each page has pre-printed space for the mine name, engineer's initials, date of survey, and men in party. "UNITY Mine F.7" is written on the spine. The first and last page are embossed with a seal that reads Thomas J. Knill, Lafayette State of Colorado/Licensed Engineer. Under the front flap is paper folded several times (did not unfold). |
