Field notes belonging to Thomas Knill, mine surveyor in Boulder County Mining field notebook. Brown leather note book. The front cover is embossed in brown ink with "CARDWELL B.P. & S. Co. 425", F8 is written in black ink in lower right corner, and "Centennial Mine #8" is written in black ink in the center top. There are 80 pages. The top of each page has pre-printed space for the mine name, engineer's initials, date of survey, and men in party. "This book is the property of Thos. J. Knill Lafayette, Colo." is labeled inside the front cover and "Centennial Book No. 1 File #8" is written in red on the label. |
